Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Ibrahim Ahmad Bajunid is Deputy President / Deputy Vice Chancellor INTI-UC Laureate International Universities and Professor of Management, Education and the Social Sciences. He was formerly the Director of the Regional Center for Educational Planning (UNESCO-RCEP), Al Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, the Founding Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University Tun Abdul Razak (UNITAR), and, Director of the National Institute of Educational Management and Leadership (Institut Aminuddin Baki (IAB). Prof Ibrahim has been the key figure in the Field of Educational Management and Leadership in Malaysia for more than three decades. He is the recipient of the National Educational Leadership Award, the highest Educational Leadership Award in Malaysia awarded only to a few individuals who have demonstrated distinguished and exemplary leadership across institutional, national and international contexts.

Professor Barry O’Sullivan is MALT's International Advisor . He is currently the Head of Assessment Research & Development at the British Council where he was responsible for the design and development of the Aptis test service. He has undertaken research across many areas on language testing and assessment and its history for 25 years and has worked on the development and refinement of the socio-cognitive model of test development and validation since 2000. He is particularly interested in the communication of test validation and in test localisation. 

He is the founding president of the UK Association of Language Testing and Assessment (UKALTA) and holds honorary and visiting chairs at a number of universities globally. In 2016 he was awarded fellowship of the Academy of Social Science in the UK, and was elected to Fellowship of the Asian Association for Language Assessment in 2017.
